Every dolop is crafted with care in our San Diego workshop, designed to bring years of beautiful light to your space. Like any thoughtfully made object, it appreciates a little kindness in return. Here's everything you need to keep your dolop looking and performing its bes

Care guide
Handle with delight
Your dolop is 3D printed using premium bio-based PLA; a renewable material derived from plants like corn and sugarcane. While strong and durable, it responds best to gentle handling. Think of it like fine ceramics with a modern twist: beautifully sturdy, but not indestructible.
Wipe, don't wash
Dust happens, especially on surfaces that glow. When it does, reach for a dry microfiber cloth or soft brush; something you'd trust with your glasses or favorite art piece. A gentle once-over keeps your dolop clean and radiant. Avoid water, cleaning sprays, or harsh chemicals. They're not part of this recipe.
Bright ideas only
Your dolop comes perfectly paired with a premium LED bulb designed for optimal performance and longevity. For replacements, stick with LED bulbs featuring:
- E26 base (standard)
- Maximum 10W LED output
- Cool-burning operation (no incandescents, please)
This protects both your lamp's form and your peace of mind.
Room to shine
dolops love cozy corners, nightstands, reading nooks, and anywhere you want to add warm, beautiful light. Designed for indoor use, they prefer environments away from direct sunlight, moisture, or extreme temperatures. Think living spaces, not steamy bathrooms or sun-drenched patios.
Naturally sustainable
Made from renewable materials and produced with minimal waste, your dolop represents thoughtful manufacturing. At the end of its long life (hopefully many years from now), PLA recycling options may be available in your area. Contact us for guidance; we're always happy to help.

Diffuser replacement program
Life happens. Light continues.
Beautiful objects are meant to be lived with, not hidden away. When accidents occur, our Diffuser Replacement Program ensures one mishap doesn't end your lamp's journey.
How it works:
- 50% off replacement (year 1), 25% off (year 2) for any breakage
- Shipping: US customers get free shipping both ways with prepaid return labels; international customers (UK, Japan, Canada) pay return shipping with tracking and outbound shipping fees ($50 UK/Japan, $35 Canada)
- Contact us and we'll guide you through the process
If your flavor (color) is discontinued:
If your exact flavor or texture is no longer available, choose from these options
- 40% off (year 1) or 20% off (year 2) a complete new dolop lamp (base included) in the same material category
- 25% off (year 1) or 12.5% off (year 2) a complete new lamp (base included) in a premium material category
Return your complete original lamp (diffuser and base) to receive your new one. Either way, you get something beautiful that fits your space.
Getting started:
- Email support@dolop.com with order number and photo
- Pay 50% (year 1) or 25% (year 2) of the diffuser's retail price
- US customers get a prepaid return label; international customers receive return shipping instructions with tracking requirements
- Once we receive it, your replacement ships (free for US, flat fee for international customers)
Available for lamps purchased June 1, 2025 or later. One replacement per lamp within two years (50% off year 1, 25% off year 2). Multiple lamps qualify for multiple replacements. Proof of purchase required. We cover all shipping costs. Diffusers only: bases and electrical components have separate warranty coverage.

Warranty
Built to last, backed by care
Every dolop comes with comprehensive warranty coverage because quality design should stand behind itself.
What's covered:
- Electrical components (cord, switch, socket): 2 years
- Manufacturing defects in printed materials: 1 year
- Finish inconsistencies beyond normal variation: 90 days
What's not covered:
- Normal wear from regular use
- Damage from accidents, misuse, or unauthorized modifications
- Issues caused by incompatible bulbs or electrical problems
Making a claim:
To initiate a warranty claim, contact support@dolop.com with your order number and photos of the issue. dolop covers return shipping for approved domestic (USA) warranty claims with a prepaid return label. For international claims (Japan, UK, Australia, Canada, South Korea), customers cover return shipping, but dolop covers delivery of replacements. Repairs or replacements will be processed per our standard 1-4 week production timeline. See our Return & Refund Policy for additional details.
